The Mirror That Hides Your Clutter!

Image
Just a heads up: All the links in this post are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something — thanks so much for supporting my blog and helping me continue posting! CLICK HERE FOR STORAGE JEWELRY MIRROR  This has to be one of the most genius secret storage items I've seen in a while (especially fitting for the minimalist and Japandi-inspired spaces). At first glance, it looks like a sleek, full-length standing mirror which is capable of making any space look neat and polished. You would never know that when opened up, shelves of storage space are revealed. It basically acts as a massive jewelry box. Saying this, I only have a tiny jewelry box and all the necklaces get tangled with one another so I could really use something like this myself! It has a clear layout where you can see all the hung up pieces of jewelry perfectly spaced, so NOTHING GETS TANGLED- that's what we love to see! Not only are there shelves of storage to display any...

Himalayan salt lamps: Home decor with benefits

Image
AFFILIATE LINK TO HIMALAYAN SALT LAMP I absolutely love Himalayan salt lamps and have always had one in my house. I've had the white one before but my favourite is the pink one for the warm orange glow and I just think it's more natural and calming. I've had this one in my bedroom for a couple months and 1) amazing price 2) it's the perfect size for a bedside table or desk etc (I have mine on my bedside table and I'd highly recommend these to be used as night lights because they're naturally perfect for that). These salt lamps are believed to help purify the air, enhance your mood and improve sleep. Not based on anything scientific, but I personally completely believe this. Crystals and minerals have always been believed to have significant benefits and it has definitely improved my sleep because of the warm orange glow. I've told many friends about it and got them to purchase one because I think everyone should have one. They're pretty, natural and bene...

BUDGET AND LUXURY FLOOR LAMPS

Image
Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed floor lamp. They provide a soft, warm glow that can instantly make a room feel cozier than a harsh overhead light. There are so many options to add extra light into your home and it doesn't need to be an extravagant, expensive light - just something that makes the room naturally warmer. In this blog, I have included a range of different lamps starting from budget friendly to more intricate, costly designs for anyone interested in a more centerpiece ornamental light.  If you would also like to see other ways of lighting up a room (fairy lights, LED lights and wall sconces are other great additions), check out my other blog coming soon specifically dedicated to creative lighting ideas.  BUDGET FRIENDLY STANDING LAMPS TBH, I was looking at a lot of the lower price end lamps and the reviews weren't great. After some digging, I found this lamp at a bargain price of £29- with GOOD reviews and the lamp itself is STUNNING. The eleg...

TOP KITCHEN GADGET MUST HAVES (AND A FEW WANT TO HAVES!)

Image
TOP KITCHEN GADGET MUST HAVES (AND A FEW WANT TO HAVES!) Some people get on fine with an oven, stove and fridge. The following devices take the kitchen even further, make cooking easier, and adding use and value to your space. It's one thing to have an aesthetically pleasing kitchen, but the appliances that go in it are just as important.  I am convinced EVERYONE NEEDS AN AIR FRYER . It's the equivalent of an oven or microwave or basically any other cooking device combined but WAY better. I've had this exact air fryer for about a year now after I switched from my old single one that only had one compartment and it is literally a life changer. It makes cooking a million times quicker and easier because it decreases cooking time by 20 percent. HERE IS THE AFFILIATE LINK TO THE TWO COMPARTMENT AIR FRYER> JUST CLICK HERE This might be a want... not a need. Saying that though, if you have children then this would be a really exciting gift idea and addition to the kitchen and...

Affordable and minimalistic living for under £200 Minimalism looks clean. It looks fresh and it looks classy. A white rug is a white rug, right? Well, yes and that's exactly why this style is so budget friendly. But what if I told you that even a few simple patterns and textures can immediately enhance the whole room and add a whole different level of sophistication? Here, I've listed 3 functional and aesthetically pleasing room-decor-on-a-budget items that all pair together and complement each other in a way that'll take your home to the next step of perfection.  RUG I love this rug for so many reasons. It's not overpowering or polarizing in a room where you may decide to have a picture as the focal point or other more stand out-ish items of furniture. The colour is one of my favourite features with that warm and inviting cream, which is exactly what you want if you put a rug in a room- for it to look welcoming. Whilst it doesn't detract from the rest of the room,...
