BUDGET AND LUXURY FLOOR LAMPS

Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed floor lamp. They provide a soft, warm glow that can instantly make a room feel cozier than a harsh overhead light. There are so many options to add extra light into your home and it doesn't need to be an extravagant, expensive light - just something that makes the room naturally warmer. In this blog, I have included a range of different lamps starting from budget friendly to more intricate, costly designs for anyone interested in a more centerpiece ornamental light.  If you would also like to see other ways of lighting up a room (fairy lights, LED lights and wall sconces are other great additions), check out my other blog coming soon specifically dedicated to creative lighting ideas.

BUDGET FRIENDLY STANDING LAMPS

TBH, I was looking at a lot of the lower price end lamps and the reviews weren't great. After some digging, I found this lamp at a bargain price of £29- with GOOD reviews and the lamp itself is STUNNING. The elegant simplicity of the quatrefoil pattern means that you can either play it up and make it a decorative piece, or play it down and have it as the finishing touch of your room. It can be a struggle to find budget friendly floor lamps specifically that are good quality and aesthetic, but I'm glad to say that I've found options so you don't have to and I'm obsessed with this lamp! This has got to be one of the most functional and luxurious lamps I've ever come across. I just love how once again it can be either downplayed and presented as a functional shelf unit, or glammed up with ornaments and decorations. Those little LED panels are where the light emits from and they manage to illuminate the entire unit really well.
An important mention is that it is a corner lamp, so it's designed to naturally slot into a corner wall. This is one of my favourite lamps and for £45, it definitely looks like quite a statement piece. Affiliate link: click here to see HOMCOM LED floor lamp

Lastly, I thought I'd incorporate a more simple lamp because sometimes basic lamps  can be an ideal choice. The lamp's personality doesn't come from the lamp itself, but rather from the three different mood setting options. Whether you want an energy boosting blue or a warm and calming yellow, the different settings easily transform the lamp to fit whatever vibe you'd like (which makes it a match for literally any room). I also like the arch of the stand which, as shown, makes it perfect for placing next to a sofa and illuminating the sitting space. It also adds a more unique touch, once again giving the lamp personality but also keeping it basic enough to go anywhere and enhance any room. While budget-friendly lamps are perfect for everyday function and style, sometimes a room calls for a showstopper. Statement lamps are more than just lighting — they’re conversation pieces, focal points, and instant mood-setters. From sculptural silhouettes to bold pops of color and high-end designer flair, these picks are made to impress!

STATEMENT FLOOR LAMPS

When I said statement piece, I wasn't lying! I went to Venice quite a few years ago now, and I've never forgotten the Murano glass experience and watching this man shaping the glass and making it look so easy. It's actually very difficult to even make tiny ornaments and the work, timing and skill that goes into the specific technique is honestly priceless. Obviously we've made a huge leap from £40 lamps to £8,000 lamps, but the workmanship and beauty of this lamp is worth every penny. If you're into pops of colour, luxury pieces, and timeless artwork, this would make a super impressive addition to your house. Affiliate link: CLICK HERE FOR LUXURY MURANO GLASS FLOOR LAMP

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. The way the two glass discs are stacked is so unique and eye-catching. It reminds me of the evil eye amulet, which I love because it feels like it's not just brightening up the room but also bringing good vibes and protection. The design is so sleek and modern, but the colors give it this ancient, spiritual feel. If you want  a luxury piece but also aren't looking to spend £8,000, this lamp for £3000 is a great alternative. Affiliate link: CLICK HERE FOR GLASS FLOOR LAMP
